
John’s practice has been focused in the areas of domestic relations, criminal defense, estates and probate. He began his legal experience by working with a nationally acclaimed professor on researching the complexities of sentencing law and the rules of evidence. He built on that background by serving Delaware County as a prosecutor during law school. He also gained his clerkship experience with the Upper Arlington City Attorney’s Office.
John completed his undergraduate education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he graduated with a degree in English Literature, having also completed the Pre-Medical program and a thematic sequence in Statistical Methods. Upon graduation, he worked for a year at Florida State University with a student service organization. He then attended law school at The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law, where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate.
John spent his time at law school as an editor for The Ohio State University Journal on Dispute Resolution. He also spent a semester as social coordinator followed by two and a half years as President of the Moritz Chapter of the Christian Legal Society. He further served as a student representative and panelist to Miami University’s Pre-Law program. John is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.
